In Spain, the meseta central experiences extreme heat in summer and cold in winter, while coastal areas remain mild year-round.
Las estaciones (the seasons) are primavera (spring), verano (summer), otoño (autumn), and invierno (winter). Remember that seasons are reversed in South America compared to Europe and North America. When it is summer in Spain, it is winter in Argentina.
