A ver = let's see: A ver... ¿qué tenemos? (Let's see... what do we have?)
Haber = to have (auxiliary) / there is: Hay un problema. | He comido.
Tip: If you can replace it with "let's see" → a ver. Otherwise → haber/hay/ha.
Ahí = there (location): Está ahí. (It's there.)
¡Ay! = ouch! / oh! (exclamation): ¡Ay, me duele!
Hay = there is/are: Hay un gato ahí. (There's a cat there.)
