Fill in the correct present tense form of the verb in parentheses.
Regular verbs follow predictable patterns: -ar verbs (hablo, hablas, habla, hablamos, habláis, hablan), -er verbs (como, comes, come, comemos, coméis, comen), -ir verbs (vivo, vives, vive, vivimos, vivís, viven).
Fill in the correct preterite form.
Watch out for common irregulars: ir/ser → fui, hacer → hice, tener → tuve, estar → estuve, poder → pude, decir → dije, poner → puse.
Fill in the correct imperfect form.
The imperfect has only 3 irregular verbs: ser (era, eras, era...), ir (iba, ibas, iba...), ver (veía, veías, veía...). Everything else is regular!
Fill in the correct future form.
12 verbs have irregular future stems: tener→tendr-, poder→podr-, salir→saldr-, venir→vendr-, hacer→har-, decir→dir-, poner→pondr-, saber→sabr-, haber→habr-, querer→querr-, valer→valdr-, caber→cabr-.
Fill in the correct present subjunctive form.
Remember WEIRDO: Wishes, Emotions, Impersonal expressions, Recommendations, Doubt, Ojalá. These all trigger the subjunctive in the dependent clause.

Regular conjugation practice is the fastest way to internalize Spanish verb forms. By drilling different tenses in context, you build the muscle memory needed to conjugate automatically in conversation.
Focus on one tense at a time until it feels natural, then move to the next. Use the answers provided to check your work. Pay special attention to stem-changing and irregular verbs, as these are the most commonly used in everyday Spanish.
