Read short Spanish texts and answer comprehension questions. Build reading fluency.
rutina diaria (daily routine), me levanto (I get up), me ducho (I shower), me visto (I get dressed), desayuno (I have breakfast), tostadas (toast), noticias (news), camino (I walk), compañeros (colleagues), paseo (I walk/stroll), me acuesto (I go to bed).
This text uses preterite (viajé, visitamos, fuimos, hicimos) for completed actions and imperfect (era, was) for descriptions. Notice the contrast: El agua era azul (description) vs. Hicimos una excursión (completed event).
Notice the formal register: Estimado Sr. (Dear Mr.), Le escribo (I write to you - usted form), candidatura (application), puesto (position), licenciada (graduate), Atentamente (Sincerely).

Reading Spanish texts is one of the most effective ways to expand vocabulary and internalize grammar. Start with texts at your level and gradually increase difficulty.
Do not just read passively. After each text, try to summarize it in your own words. Look up unknown words and write them down. Try to identify the grammar structures being used.
